APDL Cheque Printer
This exclusive RISCWorld application came about after a discussion on the RISC OS newsgroups. The question related to programs for RISC OS that could print cheques, were there any? The answer seemed to be no. It looked like a reasonably easy task to write one, so that's exactly what Dave Holden started doing. The resulting application has been going back and forwards between myself and Dave for the last week or so as I suggest improvements without having the obligation of writing the new code myself.
The Cheque program allows you to import data in CSV format and to print cheques on a wide range of printers. It has templates in Impression, Ovation and Draw formats and also comes with a comprehensive HTML manual which you can find in this issue. If you do find the program useful then don't forget to send us a percentage from each cheque you produce, Millionaires are always welcome!
